Darlington Elliott Sadler News OneMain

Elliott Sadler's No. 1 OneMain Chevrolet will carry a special throwback paint scheme this weekend at Darlington Raceway. The livery is a reflection back to 2005, when Sadler and Dale Jarrett shared the No. 90 CitiFinancial ride.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Aug. 30, 2016) – The No. 1 OneMain Chevrolet that Elliott Sadler will drive this weekend at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway is a reflection back to 2005, the first season that the Virginia native piloted a car with the colors of the company that would soon become OneMain. Sadler drove 16 races in the No. 90 CitiFinancial entry, splitting time with NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jarrett in their NASCAR Xfinity Series races while at Robert Yates Racing.

There are differences between the two schemes. Sadler’s No. 1 OneMain Chevrolet will have its traditional white number, while the 2005 car Sadler and Jarrett drove carried No. 90 with red numerals. OneMain adorns the quarterpanels, while Jarrett’s name is carried above the right-side door.

“Dale Jarrett has always been a mentor and great friend to me,” Sadler said. “After we became teammates at RYR, we signed CitiFinancial as a sponsor and he and I ended up splitting the schedule. It's awesome to run those same colors this weekend and have Dale’s name on the right-side door."
