MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 8, 2017) – The popular NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash4Cash program is back for another season, and the races will take place at three short tracks and a 1-mile oval, it was announced today.
The first Dash4Cash race will be March 18 at Phoenix International Raceway, and the second is slated for Bristol Motor Speedway on April 22. The third event is set for Richmond International Raceway on April 29, and the finale is slated for Dover International Speedway on June 3.
The format changes from 2016, in that the heat races are no longer part of the program. Instead, the top two NXS regulars in each of the first two stages will advance to the Dash4Cash finale in the third and final segment and race for the $100,000 prize.
Also, any driver that wins two of the four $100,000 prizes will automatically qualify for the playoffs at the end of the season.
Last season, Justin Allgaier qualified his No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet for all four Dash4Cash final rounds and won the $100,000 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, edging teammate Elliott Sadler for it in the waning laps. Allgaier’s bonus-clinching victory was the fifth for a JRM driver, as Regan Smith won it three times in the 2014-15 seasons, and Brad Keselowski took the honor in 2009.
