Elliott Sadler, driver No. 1 OneMain Financial team

"This OneMain Financial team came a long way from first practice today. The brakes didn't feel like what I'm used to having at the beginning of the day and I got into the wall a little bit. But, Kevin (Meendering, crew chief) knows what he's doing and always makes changes that move us in the right direction. We have a few more adjustments to make, but we'll be ready to make a strong qualifying run tomorrow. It's what we need."

Michael Annett, driver No. 5 Pilot Flying J team

"Phoenix is a track where handling is a must and that proved to be our challenge for today. We showed some great speed in the second practice and I appreciate the hard work our team put in today. Jason (Stockert, crew chief), our team, and I are going to continue working on our setup and get our Pilot Flying J Chevrolet ready to race tomorrow."

Justin Allgaier, driver No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture team

“Nobody knew what this new package was going to be like here at Phoenix, but we had an expectation and I feel like it met that expectation as far as what we thought the car would do, how it drove, things of that nature. On the flip side of that, there’s some things with this package, if you figure them out, there’s definitely some gold at the end of the rainbow. You top all of that off with it’s the first Xfinity Dash 4 Cash race of the year. There’s a lot at stake. I’m really looking forward to this race tomorrow with our BRANDT Professional Agriculture team. I feel like if we can get our Chevy Camaro exactly the way we need it, we’ll have a good shot at going for that $100,000.”

William Byron, driver No. 9 Axalta / Ameristar team

“We had three really good practice sessions today with our No. 9 Axalta/Ameristar Chevrolet. I am really happy with the way we unloaded and the way that we continued to improve as we kept going, especially in the last practice. Our team is pretty happy with everything and I think we have a really good shot tomorrow."
