Elliott Sadler, driver No. 1 OneMain Financial team

“It's fun to run road courses. We have some speed and I feel good about tomorrow. Kevin (Meendering, crew chief) and the guys have a few ideas in mind to get our Camaro up front and racing for the win. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.”

Michael Annett, driver No. 5 Pilot Flying J team

"We fought a little bit of a turn-in issue today in practice, and that is very important here at Watkins Glen. The Pilot Flying J crew made good changes and we got better, but there’s still some work to do tomorrow in qualifying. We just need to have a solid day tomorrow, keep our standing in the points, and we’ll be good.”

Justin Allgaier, driver No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture team

"I was really excited to get on track today at Watkins Glen and kick off our month of road-course races. The guys did a great job preparing for this weekend. We had two really good practice sessions and got some good data. We'll keep fine tuning it tonight, but I know we'll have a fast BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevy for tomorrow's race."

William Byron, driver No. 9 Axalta/Progressive Powder Coating INC team

"For me, just getting used to road-course racing and making sure I put a whole lap together, not just a few corners, was the most important thing. I need to just keep learning and keep progressing. Hopefully, in the race, I can get into a rhythm and be able to click off some laps and understand what I need in the Axalta car. I’m really looking forward to it and hopefully it goes well for us.”
