Quotes

Elliott Sadler: “Last weekend, we got a good look at what our roadcourse program will be like for these next couple of races. With the first road race under our belt, we now know what we can expect. We can really dial in on the handling of our OneMain Financial Chevrolet and our strategy. We had a fast car last weekend, just had a little bit of bad luck. I like Mid-Ohio—this weekend should be fun.”

Michael Annett: “At Watkins Glen, we were able to put a whole race together and that is what we need to do to stay ahead in the playoff battle. Proud to have Allstate Parts and Service with us this weekend, and looking forward to getting on track at MidOhio. It’s a pretty racy track, lots of elevation changes, and you can make time there if you are on the right setup. We’ve had good cars and some good speed, so my No. 5 team and I are looking for another solid finish.”

Justin Allgaier: “We had a great finish last weekend at Watkins Glen and I love the fact that we’re going to another road course this weekend. Mid-Ohio is a lot of fun. You never know what’s going to happen on a road course and I think that’s what we all love about them. Our team has had a rough summer and after our strong run last weekend, I’m hoping we can continue that momentum and have another good finish with our BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevy.”

William Byron: “I am really excited to get to Mid-Ohio this weekend. This will be my first time at this track, but I enjoy road-course racing a lot. I hope that I can learn from what I did last week in Watkins Glen and I can start off better this weekend.”
