Elliott Sadler, driver No. 1 Textron Aviation team

"Our number one goal this season has been to compete for the championship. We used today's practices to find good speed in our Textron Aviation Chevrolet that will allow us to go out tomorrow and put us in a position to be in the Championship 4 at Homestead. I'm proud of our team and how fast our cars have been all year to give us this opportunity."

Michael Annett, driver No. 5 Pilot Flying J team

“Phoenix is one of those tracks where the handling of the car has to be there for you to have a shot at winning. We tried multiple setups today on the Pilot Flying J Chevy and we are pretty happy with what we have. We will take what we have learned today and apply it to our overall strategy for tomorrow. This is a fun track to race on and we will continue to be aggressive tomorrow.”

Justin Allgaier, driver No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture team

“Our BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevy has good speed. We spent much of practice trying some different setups and fine tuning our Camaro for tomorrow. We still have some work to do tonight, but I think we’ll be in good shape for the race. I love this track and hopefully we’ll be able to finish strong tomorrow and move on to Homestead as part of the Championship 4.”

William Byron, driver No. 9 Liberty University team

“We worked through a few changes in first practice and the Liberty University machine felt really good. In final practice we just kept gaining on it and made a few different changes to work with our balance and fine tune it. Hopefully this will roll over into tomorrow and we will see what we have.”
