JR Nation voted on Facebook for the top JR Motorsports paint scheme from the 2017 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 18, 2017) – One final race remains in a 2017 season that saw JR Motorsports sweep the top three spots in the NASCAR Xfinity Series point standings and put all four of its full-time cars in the top 10. It’s the battle for paint-scheme supremacy.

William Byron and the No. 9 entry claimed the victory in that final race, adding to the four on-track victories the team earned in its championship season thanks to the votes tallied on social media from JR Nation and racing fans around the world.

The main Axalta colors that adorned Byron’s No. 9 Chevrolet, which won twice in 15 starts on the way to the title, was the winner among voters and now has the paint-scheme trophy to go with the NXS Champion’s Trophy.

Byron’s scheme bested those of teammates Elliott Sadler, Michael Annett and Justin Allgaier in the voting.

Sadler’s pink No. 1 OneMain Financial Chevrolet took the runner-up position in the voting. Sadler raced the bright entry during Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. Overall, the Virginia native drove OneMain livery in 22 of the season’s 33 races and won the inaugural regular-season championship on the way to the Championship 4 again at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Annett’s beautiful black and gold TMC Transportation scheme, which the Iowa native drove on three occasions on the way to ninth place in the points, is a classic paint scheme that caught the fancy of the many fans and took the third spot in the voting. He drove the car to his best starting spot of the season, fifth, at Indianapolis.

Third-place point finisher Allgaier’s familiar red-themed BRANDT Professional Agriculture scheme for his No. 7 Chevrolet, which he raced 14 times in 2017, was the top choice among voters on his campaign. Both of Allgaier’s 2017 victories, at Phoenix Raceway and Chicagoland Speedway, came in the red BRANDT colors.
