Quotes:

Elliott Sadler: “It’s a big weekend for our OneMain Financial team. Any time the sponsor of your car is also the race entitlement sponsor, it puts a little bit more added pressure to try and get to Victory Lane with those guys. We’re going for our third Xfinity Dash 4 Cash victory in a row and I know Kevin (Meendering, crew chief) and the guys will bring a hot rod this weekend. Dover is one of the most fun racetracks that we race on. We’re looking forward to trying to win the race and another $100,000.”

Michael Annett: “The recent races have shown that our Pilot Flying J Chevrolet has speed, but we still need to show that we can finish inside the top 10. We’ve had the car to do it, but not the luck we’ve needed to make it happen. Last week at Talladega, we qualified in the top five, ran with the leaders and earned stage points, so we know it is just a matter of time. Dover has been good to me in the past, and we’re looking forward to doing more of the same this weekend.”

Justin Allgaier: “It’s awesome to get the chance to race for the $100,000 Xfinity Dash 4 Cash bonus at one of my favorite tracks. Dover is so much fun to race on and it’s been a great track for our No. 7 team. SiteOne Landscape Supply is on board with us this week and I’m looking forward to trying to get our Chevrolet Camaro to Victory Lane in their first race with us.”

Tyler Reddick: “I’m really looking forward to getting to Dover this weekend and seeing what we can do. I’m extremely confident that Dave (Elenz, crew chief) and everyone on this JR Motorsports team will provide me with another fast Chevrolet this weekend that will allow us to run up front and contend for the win. Plus, we have a new partner in Hennessey Performance on board this weekend and I would really love to give them a great run and get ourselves another solid finish.”

Notes:

• With a sixth top-five finish on the season, Elliott Sadler and the No. 1 team continue to lead the NASCAR Xfinity Series point standings, now by 40 markers.

• In 20 NXS starts at Dover International Speedway, Sadler has three top fives, 13 top 10s and one pole (Oct. 2011).

• After winning back-to-back Xfinity Dash 4 Cash events (Richmond and Talladega), the Virginia native has qualified himself for the D4C finale at Dover.

• Sadler will drive to claim his 100th career NXS top-five finish this Saturday in the OneMain Financial 200. The veteran driver currently has 99 top fives in 371 starts after taking a fifth-place finish at Talladega.

• Michael Annett’s best NXS finish at Dover came in 2012, when he claimed a strong third-place finish in the fall race on the 1-mile concrete oval.

• Consistency is the story for Annett at the Monster Mile, as he has completed all but 10 of the 2,414 laps in 12 starts there (99.6 percent).

• Annett’s strong showing at Talladega last week gained him 27 points on 12th place in the points. The 31-year-old Iowa native is just 12 points out of the playoffs after nine races.

• Of the 1-mile tracks on the schedule, Annett’s average finish at Dover (13.3) is his second-best result. His best average finish on those tracks is 12.8 at Loudon.

• With his third-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway last weekend, Justin Allgaier qualified himself for the Xfinity Dash 4 Cash finale at Dover. He now sits third in the NXS point standings, 47 markers behind the leader.

• In 14 NXS starts at the Monster Mile, the Illinois native has four top-five and seven top-10 finishes, with a runner-up finish in his most recent start at the track last fall.

• The 31-year-old driver has led 123 laps this season on tracks measuring 1 mile or less, resulting in two runner-up finishes (Phoenix and Bristol). He also claimed the pole award at Phoenix earlier this year.

• Tyler Reddick will make his second career NXS start at Dover, after taking his first green flag last fall.

• Following the first nine races of 2018, Reddick ranks second in average running position (8.5) and in quality passes (505). He is fifth in percentage of laps run inside the top 15 (84.1) and in driver rating (98.4).

• The Corning, Calif. native has also made three previous NCWTS starts at Dover, earning one victory in the May 2015 event after starting from the fourth position and leading 40 laps en route to the win.

• Reddick currently ranks second in the championship standings and leads the Rookie of the Year standings.
