Championship News Tyler Reddick XFINITY Series

Parades, interviews and a VIP tour were all part of the day on Tuesday as 2018 Xfinity Series Champ Tyler Reddick visited Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Nov. 29, 2018) – It’s good to be the king, especially when you’re on tour.

NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Tyler Reddick was king for the day on Tuesday during a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, with a full media blitz at the Loews Sapphire Resort and several appearances at the theme park which included leading a parade.

The morning of Tuesday’s trip was spent in full-on media mode, with TV hits, several radio stops and print media as well. ESPN journalist Bob Pockrass accompanied JRM’s latest champion along with AutoWeek’s Greg Engel during the day.

Following the media-filled morning, Reddick attended a VIP luncheon with customers from series sponsor Xfinity which included an autograph session. Then it was time to be a park patron.

Among the rides the 22-year-old Californian was able to sample were various roller coasters, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the Fast and Furious Supercharged attraction.

At the end of the day, Reddick was happy for the experience.

“I like saying I’m the Xfinity Series champion, but I love hearing it even more,” Reddick said while taking photos with fans, the championship trophy and Xfinity-branded show car.
