Quotes:

Michael Annett, driver No. 1 Pilot Flying J Memorial Day team

“I’m really happy with the handling on our Pilot Flying J Camaro. The guys worked hard and made some great changes to get us closer to where we need to be for Saturday. I’m looking forward to this race and to honor those who have served our country with our special Memorial Day paint scheme.”

Justin Allgaier, driver No. 7 Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise & Ketchup team

“Our No. 7 Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise & Ketchup team made some really good gains today in practice. The track definitely changed as it got later in the day and gained more grip. Temperatures are going to be even hotter on Saturday, so it will be interesting to see how the track is different. We have a fast Chevrolet though and if we can keep up with those changes, we’ll be in good shape.”

Jeb Burton, driver No. 8 State Water Heaters team

“We made a lot of progress with our State Water Heaters Chevrolet and I want to thank Taylor (Moyer, crew chief) and all my guys for their hard work. I’m so happy to be back behind the wheel of this No. 8 Chevy and I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can do on Saturday in the race.”

Noah Gragson, driver No. 9 Cessna team

“We have a really fast Cessna Chevrolet. Dave (Elenz, crew chief) made some great changes between practices and our car really came alive. I can’t thank all these guys enough. Now we’ve got an extra day to go over everything we need to to get back here and have a great day on Saturday.”
