MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 13, 2019) – Bristol Motor Speedway is The Last Great Colosseum...and both Tyler Dohar and Jason Keffer had their share of gladiator moments during the third round of the eNASCAR Heat Pro League on the virtual .533-mile concrete oval.

In the opening race for the XBOX machines, Dohar was in the mix from the green flag on, starting third in the 95-lap main and battling for the top spots through the first 35 laps. The No. 5 car was glued to the rear of the No. 88 FilterTime Chevrolet and he eventually worked his way past with 64 laps to go when Dohar slipped a little high off Turn 4 and scraped the wall.

After pit stops at the competition caution, Dohar returned to the track in fourth place but lost a spot on the restart to run fifth. Dohar had picked up some front-end damage in the first stint, which made his car a bit tighter than expected, but the Ohio native was able to gain the spot back while the leaders were dicing among each other. Dohar played the waiting game, running behind the leading No. 37 and the No. 5 machine.

With 10 laps to go, Dohar pushed the button and got to the outside of the No. 5 off Turn 4. Contact between the two sent Dohar’s machine into the outside wall. The No. 6 got to the inside with four to go to drop Dohar another spot, and in the run to the checkered, and the No. 22 did the same thing the next time by. As the group crossed the finish line, a multi-car crash caught Dohar’s No. 88 up and he finished sixth on the night.

In the PS4 feature, Keffer started 14th in the field and wasted little time moving forward. The No. 7 Win Dale Jr.’s Ride Chevrolet was 13th almost immediately. He stayed at the back for much of the first stint to the competition caution, saving tires and staying out of trouble while running lap times within two-tenths of a second to the leaders.

At the competition caution, which waved at lap 37, Keffer was able to come down pit road to put on tires, add fuel and fix a little damage picked up in the opening salvo. Restarting 14th, Keffer advanced to 13th almost immediately and set about saving fuel for the end. He was up to 11th by the time the caution waved with 52 to go for a crash involving the No. 42 machine.

Keffer restarted ninth and stayed in the back half of the field for the run to the finish, using fuel mileage strategy to move up as the checkered flag loomed. Another caution waved with 28 to go following a crash that Keffer barely missed. Restarting 12th with 25 to go, it was a free-for-all to the finish. Keffer was 10th with 10 laps remaining, and a caution came out with four laps to go that Keffer was involved in. Restarting 10th, Keffer lost a spot in the brief green-flag run to finish 11th.

Following the race, the JRM duo of Dohar and Keffer are fifth in the combined point standings, 19 points out of the lead with five events remaining until the cutoff for the Playoffs.

Next up for the JRM team is a race at Watkins Glen International on June 26.
