MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 30, 2020) – NASCAR today released the 2021 schedule for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and it largely mirrors the schedule released earlier for the NASCAR Cup Series, with 33 races at 26 tracks from February to November.
New to the schedule this year are the inaugural stop at the road course at Circuit of the Americas (May 22) and a return to Nashville Superspeedway (June 19). Road-course events at Mid-Ohio, Road America and Watkins Glen return, along with events on the Charlotte Roval and the road courses at both Daytona and Indianapolis, making it seven road courses on the schedule.
Speedweeks in Daytona kicks off the schedule on Feb. 13 and stays in Florida for the following week’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway before the first West Coast Swing begins. That segment starts at Auto Club Speedway and runs through Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Phoenix Raceway on consecutive weeks.
A two-week break is schedule from March 27-April 3, and the series will return April 9 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway before another one-week break. Talladega Superspeedway is the next stop on April 24, followed by a week off and then a trip to Darlington on May 8. After that, the schedule features 25 consecutive weekends of racing, with consecutive off-weekends on July 24 and July 31.
The schedule for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs remains the same as 2020, beginning at Las Vegas and ending at Phoenix Raceway.
