Dale Earnhardt Jr. will appear live at a TaxSlayer.com event this Saturday in Evans, Ga., and it is free to the public.
Evans, Ga., a suburb of Augusta, is the home base for TaxSlayer.com, an online tax service that prepares and e-files tax returns each year for millions of customers. TaxSlayer.com is a primary sponsor for JR Motorsports, appearing on Cole Whitt’s No. 88 Chevrolet in 12 races and two on Earnhardt Jr.’s No. 5 Chevrolet, including the season-opening NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway.
The event will take place at Lady Antebellum Amphitheatre at Evans Towne Center Park. It will feature a concert starting at 10:45 a.m. ET by country music artist Jana Kramer, followed by a 20-minute Q&A session with Earnhardt Jr. starting at 11:15 a.m. Fans will also have the opportunity to see the No. 5 TaxSlayer.com Chevrolet up close.
“Our partnership with Tax Slayer is one that is very important to me, because I view those folks as friends, not just corporate sponsors,” Earnhardt Jr. said. “I’m looking forward to visiting Augusta, and I hope to see a lot of people at the event this Saturday.”
Earnhardt Jr. previously appeared on behalf of his key partners at the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla. on Jan. 2. He drove the No. 5 Chevrolet onto the field pre-game and flipped the coin to start the contest. Earnhardt Jr. will drive a Tax Slayer-sponsored car at Daytona (Feb. 25) and Bristol (March 17).
