MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 24, 2026) – Round 4 of this year’s eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series at the virtual Dover Motor Speedway was not kind to the two-car JR Motorsports team of Zack Novak and Malik Ray.

Novak, driving the No. 8 Ledford Billiard Supply/WasherTech.com Chevrolet, ran in the top 10 all night after starting 11th, but late-race contact with another car sent him spinning out of contention. Ray’s No. 88 Tint Solutions/Logitech Chevrolet ran among the top 10 for much of the race and battled in the lead pack before a tangle ahead of him caused the rest of the pack to pile in, doing severe damage to Ray’s machine. When all was said and done, Novak finished the race in 27th and Ray was a couple of spots behind in 29th.

Novak, who won the series title in 2019, started 11th and was a fixture in the top 10 all race, but on the final restart contact from a car behind him while making a move forward was enough to spin him out in front of the pack. After righting the ship, Novak set about recovering the lost positions and wound up 27th at the checkered flag.

Ray’s race started well from 12th on the grid and he just kept moving forward a couple of seconds off the leader’s time. Following a pit stop under caution, Ray set out to move forward once again, only to get tagged from behind in an on-track incident and sustaining heavy damage. A lack of caution flags over the remaining laps hindered his efforts to fix the damage and he finished 29th.

Steven Wilson won the event, followed by Femi Olatunbosun, Tucker Minter, Connor Yeroschak and Jordy Lopez in the top five.

Novak fell to seventh in series points, 58 off the leader, and Ray sits 26th, 93 off the top spot. In the team standings, JRM ranks seventh in the team grid, 82 markers off the top spot after four races.

Next action for Ray and Novak will come on July 7 at the virtual Iowa Speedway.

Zack Novak, driver No. 8 Ledford Billiard Supply/WasherTech.com Chevrolet team

“That was a tough and frustrating ending to another strong night for me and our No. 8 group. We ran in the top 10 the whole race, and on the final restart I made an unfortunate mistake, turning myself off the nose of another car. I’ve got to be better than that if want to make a Playoff push, but fortunately this summer stretch features some strong tracks for me and the team. We had strong pace, and that’s something to build on.”

Malik Ray, driver No. 88 Tint Solutions/Logitech Chevrolet team:

“Our Tint Solutions Chevrolet fired off very well after starting 12th and I was able to pass cars from the start. We drove up to sixth and sat there for 60 or 70 laps, less than two seconds off the leaders. We got a caution and, after pitting, the top five wrecked in front of us and the guys behind me didn’t hit the brakes. The car was destroyed and we finished 29th. Hopefully we’ll rebound next week at Iowa.”
