Dohar, Keffer Join JRM eSports for eNASCAR Heat Pro League Competition

JRM has called up Tyler Dohar and Jason Keffer to pilot the team's entries in the inaugural eNASCAR Heat Pro League.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (March 11, 2019) – JR Motorsports added two new drivers to its stable on Sunday, drafting Tyler Dohar and Jason Keffer for the team’s entries in the eNASCAR Heat Pro League. The draft was the first of its kind and held at ISM Raceway prior to the NASCAR Cup Series event on the 1-mile oval.

Dohar, 25, will pilot the No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet in the new eSports series from NASCAR and 704 Games, and Keffer, 33, will drive the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet. Dohar competes on XBOX and Keffer will lead the team’s charge on PlayStation 4.

Dohar, from Vermilion, Ohio, was taken with the third overall pick in the XBOX round. A 12-year veteran of eSports competition, Dohar holds a master’s degree in business from Bowling Green State University. As a racer, Dohar has 233 qualifier victories in 805 starts, with 582 top-three finishes and an average finish of 2.91 over his career. In showcase races, Dohar has a victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway, runner-up finishes at both Martinsville and ISM Raceway and an eighth-place run at Daytona.

Keffer, from Charlotte, N.C., grew up as a Jeff Gordon fan in West Virginia and brings a lot of eSports experience to JRM. In 519 qualifying stage starts, Keffer has 109 victories, 338 top-three finishes and an average finish of 3.3. So far in showcase races, Keffer has a best finish of fourth at Martinsville, with a 10th-place result at ISM Raceway. He was 11th at Daytona and 13th at Charlotte Motor Speedway as well.

The eNASCAR Heat Pro League opens competition in May at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
