NASCAR Releases New-Look 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Schedule

August 20, 2025

One day after announcing that O’Reilly Auto Parts will be the new title sponsor of what is currently the Xfinity Series, NASCAR has released the 2026 schedule that JR Motorsports will tackle in search of another series title.

There are a few significant changes to the 2026 slate, chief among them the site of the Championship Race in November. The season finale returns to Homestead-Miami Speedway on Nov. 7 next season after several years of determining the champions at Phoenix Raceway.

William Byron (2017) and Tyler Reddick (2018) both clinched series titles on the 1.5-mile Florida oval in the new Chase format. Justin Allgaier earned his last season at Phoenix Raceway, and Chase Elliott won the first series championship in 2014, when the traditional point system was in place.

The makeup of the seven-race Playoffs in the soon-to-be NOAPS remains largely the same, with Las Vegas Motor Speedway taking the Kansas slot from this year (Kansas moves to a spring date in April). Phoenix will host the opener in the Round of 8 this year.

Despite the addition of a road-course event at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego, the total number of road courses for 2026 falls from seven to five. Those five are Circuit of the Americas (Feb. 28), Watkins Glen International (May 9), Coronado (June 20), Sonoma (June 27) and the Charlotte Roval (Oct. 10). The Roval remains the cutoff race for the Round of 12. Road circuits that fell off the 2026 slate include the Circuit Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City and Portland International Raceway.

Chicagoland Speedway is back on the schedule for the first time since 2019 and will host the July 4 race in 2026. Atlanta Motor Speedway picked up a second date, with the first on Feb. 22 and the second on July 11.
