MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 17, 2026) – Zack Novak earned a top-10 finish in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series’ inaugural event at the virtual Qualcomm Circuit on Naval Base Coronado. Teammate Malik Ray was sidelined just after the start due to connection issues and failed to complete the event. (Watch the full race).
Novak, driving the No. 8 Ledford Billiard Supply/WasherTech.com Chevrolet, led the way for the team with an eighth-place finish, while Ray’s No. 88 Tint Solutions Camaro was scored in 39th position at the checkered flag.
Novak, the 2019 eNCCiRS champion, finished 10th in the qualifying race and started from there for the 20-lap main. Throughout the event on the temporary street course, Novak was able to hold his position in the top 10 for the entire distance.
Novak was ninth entering the final lap but kept the pressure on, taking eighth position in the final handful of corners.
Ray started 36th for the 20-lap main, but his race was over quickly due to connection issues, and he was relegated to 39th at the finish.
Novak’s finish saw him exit the event fourth in series points, 28 behind the leader. Ray’s misfortune cost him in the standings, as he dropped to 19th with his finish.
Zack Novak, driver No. 8 Ledford Billiard Supply/WasherTech.com Chevrolet team
“We finished eighth and added another top-10 for our No. 8 team. This track was a toss-up for me, as I really enjoyed practicing for it and had strong pace in testing, but street courses are typically a very weak point for me. That said, I’m glad we were able to show up with top-10 speed and build on our strong start to the 2026 season. Thank you to Ledford Billiard Supply and WasherTech.com for the incredible support, and I am looking forward to Dover next week, hopefully with another strong run!”
Malik Ray, driver No. 88 Tint Solutions/Logitech Chevrolet team:
“I hate that the Tint Solutions Chevy was unable to complete the event due to connection issues. Unfortunately, we never really had the opportunity to see what we had or race to compete with the others in the field. The No. 88 team brought a strong Chevrolet, and we’ll be ready to bounce back and make the most of it in the next race.”
