Hall Leads Late, Finishes Seventh in Racy CARS Tour LMSC Run at Langley

June 2, 2025

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 2, 2025) – Connor Hall continues to impress in the zMAX CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car division this season.

The Virginia native qualified his No. 88 Bass Pro Ships/TRACKER Boats Chevrolet fifth for the 125-lap LMSC event on the .396-mile oval and began hunting the front at the drop of the green flag. Working his way toward the front, Hall assumed the lead with 50 laps to go, fighting with Mini Tyrrell and others.

As the laps wound down toward the finish, the handle on the No. 88 Chevrolet began to free up and Hall slipped back into the top five. In the closing flurry, Hall lost two more positions to finish seventh on the night.

Hall also gained ground on points leader Landen Lewis, who retired from the race early and finished 19th. Hall entered the race second in the standings, 12 points behind Lewis.

Chase Burrow won the event over Jared Fryar, Matt Waltz, Tristan McKee and Chad McCumbee.

Next race for the JR Motorsports Late Model team will be June 14 at Virginia’s Dominion Raceway.

Connor Hall, driver, No. 88 Bass Pro Shops/TRACKER Boats Chevrolet:

“Since this one of my home tracks, I wanted to run well and win this weekend, but we swung to the free side after we took the lead with 50 or so laps to go. Our Bass Pro Shops/TRACKER Boats Chevrolet was really good for the first 75 laps and we led a bunch of laps, but the swing to loose took away the line we wanted to run. We were fast again and had a good shot at it, and we gained in the points. Looking forward to Dominion to gain some more for Johnny Morris and Bass Pro Shops.”
