Quotes:

Michael Annett, driver No. 1 Pilot Flying J team

“We made some good gains today in practice to get our Pilot Flying J Camaro ready for the race. The guys on this team have been working so hard and it’s been showing week in and week out. Hopefully we continue that momentum with another solid finish tomorrow to wrap up the West Coast swing.”

Justin Allgaier, driver No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture team

“I was really happy in practice with how our BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevy drove and we have a lot of speed. This place is so much fun because it’s big and wide and fast. You’re also constantly searching for what lane your car drives the fastest and it might change 10 to 15 laps into a run and that just makes this place a blast.”

Ryan Preece, driver No. 8 Velveeta Shells and Cheese team

“We have a really fast Velveeta Shells and Cheese Chevrolet. Taylor (Moyer, crew chief) made some really good adjustments during practice today and I feel like we have the balance where we need it looking ahead to tomorrow. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do.”

Noah Gragson, driver No. 9 Switch team

“Our Switch Chevrolet has felt really good since we unloaded off of the truck. All my guys on this JR Motorsports team worked really hard during both practices and we were able to make improvements throughout the day. If we can be smooth all day tomorrow I feel really confident that we can come home with another solid day.”
